LusyChat Review: NSFW Roleplay and the Cost of the Fantasy

Inside LusyChat’s NSFW character catalog, Kinky Play controls, custom personas and coin costs. Our illustrated free-account review shows what you get before upgrading.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Free starter coins covered a chat reply and an image generation
  • Detailed character and persona setup controls
  • Adult scenario browsing, Kinky Play controls and chat modes

Cons

  • Busy interface with several coin types and paid tiers
  • Longer Story mode and custom video prompts carry Deluxe labels
  • Images and chat consume the same coin allowance

LusyChat is for people who enjoy setting up the fantasy. Browse an adult character’s backstory, decide who you want to be in the scene, then get into the model settings. There is plenty here for someone who likes that level of control. If you just want to open a chat and get on with it, the busy interface is a less convincing sell.

The part I like is how specific the setup gets. Personality, scenario and your own persona have separate fields. Kinky Play lets you choose who leads. Chat modes distinguish a short exchange from a narrated scene. Those are useful decisions to put in the reader’s hands.

The pricing takes more work than it should. Membership tiers, model rates and three coin types all compete for your attention. LusyChat is worth a free try for the character tools. I’d hold off on a paid upgrade until the conversations earn it.

Testing: an AI agent explored a Free account on 18 and 20 September 2026. Completed tests: one nonsexual chat reply and one landscape image. Other features were inspected; erotic output quality, paid access, voice, video, saved characters/personas and long-term recall remain untested. No subscription was purchased.

Start with the scenario

Discovery is built around community characters. Popular, Recent and Trending lists, gender filters and tags help you narrow the catalog. On our revisit, the NSFW switch was on, and adult scenarios were prominent rather than tucked into a separate corner.

For a closer look, we opened Zoey, whose introduction identifies her as a 23-year-old executive assistant. The setup is an office-affair fantasy involving a married character. Her profile combines a creator credit, a photo album and tags including NSFW, Cheating, Male POV, RPG and Romance.

The backstory does real work here. Before you type anything, you know the relationship and the situation you’re stepping into. Read the introduction before choosing a character; the thumbnail only tells you what they look like.

Zoey’s illustrated introduction even has temptation and guilt indicators. They give the profile a game-like presentation, though their behavior during chat still needs testing.

The catalog is messy around the edges. Turning NSFW off changed the results during our earlier visit, but adult tags and a promotion remained. Don’t count on that switch to make the whole page safe to open in public.

Sex chat: who leads, and how much do they talk?

The chat screen puts Ask Image, Ask Video, Kinky Play, Persona and the model selector beside the composer. You have a lot of controls within reach, although the interface starts to feel crowded before you’ve written a word.

Kinky Play handles the opening setup

Opening Kinky Play revealed location choices including Office, Street at Midnight, Inside a Car and Custom. You can choose I lead or The bot leads, then select Gentle, Ambiguous or Intense. There are optional game modes below, with a limit of two selections.

Kinky Play on 20 September: choose the setting, who leads and the intensity before starting.

This is a sensible set of controls. Who takes the lead changes the role you want to play, and choosing it directly is simpler than working it into a long opening prompt. The panel gives you a clear way to request that dynamic; following it is the model’s job.

Short exchanges or a narrated scene?

The selected model was LusyLLM Taboo – 32K, marked NSFW and priced at five coins. Its Chat Settings panel offers three modes: Chat, Scene and Story. Scene was selected; Story carried a Deluxe label.

The mode cards describe short Chat replies, longer Scene responses and a Deluxe Story mode. Scene is the default.

Check this setting early. Quick back-and-forth sexting and a paragraph of scene-setting are very different things to read. The Inner Thought toggle also lets you turn off the character’s internal narration if it gets in the way.

The wider model catalog separates Standard, Premium, Deluxe and Ultra options. Even within Standard, the listed coin costs weren’t all identical. Switching models can change both the writing and the bill.

Give yourself a role, too

A persona describes who you are inside the conversation, separately from the character you’re chatting with. You can set a fictional name, avatar, gender and other details rather than repeatedly explaining your role in every new scene.

Create Persona form showing name, avatar and gender fields

The persona is your side of the setup. The character editor controls the other participant.

The form showed ten pinned-memory slots, with an offer for 50 on Deluxe. Each pin allowed up to 150 characters.

Persona controls with ten pinned memories and an upgrade offer for 50 on Deluxe

Ten pins for details about your role and relationship; Deluxe advertises 50. Each pin allows up to 150 characters.

The distinction is useful: the character has a backstory, and your persona gives you one too. More memory slots are only worth paying for if the character uses the details reliably. Recall is still on our test list.

Nora supplied the atmosphere and forgot the answer

Our earlier test used the filtered character Nora and asked for a book recommendation. In Scene mode, she answered with actions and atmosphere, but omitted the book’s title and author. The balance fell from 200 to 195 Pro Coins.

As a book recommendation, it failed the basic task: give us a book we can find. The scene-setting was there, but the answer wasn’t. That’s a concrete reason to check whether a character follows your instructions before spending more coins on them.

Character creation is the main attraction

The character editor is the strongest reason I’d try LusyChat. If you keep finding characters who look right but have the wrong personality or opening scenario, the separate writing fields give you somewhere to address each part.

There are the expected identity and appearance fields, then a bio, opening messages, personality, scenario and example conversation. The form showed space for up to 20 different opening messages, with a 30,000-character limit on each. That is a lot of room for an introduction.

You can offer different opening messages for the same character. The preview on the right shows how the profile will appear.

Personality and Scenario are separate fields, each displaying a 10,000-character limit. The distinction is useful for adult roleplay: personality describes who they are, while the scenario establishes the relationship and situation you are stepping into. Appearance alone cannot do that work.

Character creation form with separate Personality and Scenario fields and an Example Conversations section

Personality and Scenario each get a 10,000-character field, followed by Example Conversations. There is room to be specific about the character and the situation.

A voice selector adds searchable options and preview buttons. The form also offers Public or Private visibility; Private was selected when we inspected it.

Voice chooser showing named voices, descriptive tags and preview buttons

Named voices, descriptive tags and preview buttons make the voice list easier to browse.

This much writing space suits someone who enjoys building the character as much as chatting. Twenty opening messages will be overkill for a casual session. For a creator who wants several ways into the same story, the option makes sense.

Images and video share the coin balance

LusyChat spreads media across character albums, chat buttons and separate creation tools. The albums help sell a character, but they’re existing artwork. What you’re paying to generate is a new result.

The image tool offers a character selector, positive and negative prompts, aspect ratio, image count and advanced settings. On the revisit, the composer displayed 30 coins beside Generate. The advanced CFG and Steps controls had Premium labels in our original inspection.

Our landscape test cost 30 Pro Coins, reducing the balance from 195 to 165. The lighthouse appeared; the requested rain didn’t. More relevant to your budget, that one image cost as much as six replies on the five-coin model. Pictures and chat spend the same allowance, so a mixed session uses it faster.

Custom video prompts require Deluxe

The video page combines a character selector with an action library. The choices include named sexual positions and acts, so this is clearly an adult-video feature rather than a generic animation tool. Custom Prompt was marked Deluxe Feature on our revisit.

Advanced Settings offered resolution, frame rate and 5-, 7- and 10-second duration choices, with upgrade markers on some options. If video is why you’re signing up, check the prompt and duration restrictions before choosing a plan.

The coin page listed video at 200 coins, equal to our entire starter balance. The final price for a selected configuration remains unverified; check it before generating.

Pricing takes more work than it should

The confusing part starts with the names. Membership unlocks access; coins pay for actions. You need to understand both.

Our account was Free and held Pro Coins. The word “Pro” in that balance didn’t mean we’d bought a plan. The paid plans displayed were Premium, Deluxe and Ultra.

LusyChat pricing with Monthly selected and the three subscription prices visible

Monthly billing selected: Premium $14.99, Deluxe $43.99 and Ultra $69.99. These were the displayed USD offers on 18 September 2026.

The annual tab makes the headline prices look considerably smaller. It also asks for considerably more money up front.

LusyChat pricing with Annually selected and annual totals beside monthly-equivalent prices

Premium’s $7.99 figure belongs to the annual offer, with $95.88 billed for the year. It isn’t a $7.99 one-month trial.
Plan Monthly offer Annual total Annual equivalent per month
Premium $14.99 $95.88 $7.99
Deluxe $43.99 $297.00 $24.75
Ultra $69.99 $498.00 $41.50

These are the promotional USD offers displayed on 18 September, not confirmed checkout or renewal prices. Cancellation was not tested.

The comparison table advertised 6,000 monthly coins for Premium, 30,000 for Deluxe and 60,000 for Ultra, alongside differences in model access and media features. Larger memory labels and longer replies also appeared as advertised paid benefits.

The action prices explain how quickly those allowances go:

The spending rules sit on the Coins page. Read the action price as well as the subscription price.
Action Listed coin cost Completed in this test?
Basic message 5 Yes: balance fell by 5
Image generation 30 Yes: balance fell by 30
Auto Reply 2 No
Inner Thought 5 No full unlock tested
Voice generation 5 No
Video generation 200 No

Model choice and membership can change the applicable price. The table above records the general cost list, with the two charges we actually observed marked separately.

At five coins a message, 200 starter coins would cover 40 messages if you spent them only on that message type. Start generating images and the same balance goes faster. Forty messages and several images are not separate allowances.

Can you earn more free coins?

Task Center showed daily check-in rewards, a daily-conversation task and other reward routes.

The seven-day check-in offer totals 440 coins. Rewards were not claimed.

Quick, VIP and Pro balances add another layer to the pricing. We haven’t established the rules for all three, so the reward total isn’t a reliable spending budget yet. The app should make that easier to understand.

Where Candy AI and GirlfriendGPT fit

If the part you liked in our GirlfriendGPT review was writing a character and browsing other creators’ scenarios, LusyChat is relevant. Its editor gives you a similarly writing-heavy setup to explore.

Our Candy AI review spends more time on guided character creation and the wider media offering. LusyChat’s discovery grid and long character fields suggest a different starting point: find or write a scenario you want to participate in.

Those earlier reviews are useful for choosing the kind of setup you prefer. They aren’t a matched test of chat or image quality across the three platforms.

Verdict: try the character tools before buying more access

I’d put LusyChat on the shortlist for someone who enjoys writing characters. The separate personality and scenario fields, multiple openings and persona controls give that person a lot to work with. Someone who wants a straightforward chat has less reason to spend time in all those menus.

The pricing is the sticking point. Story mode and custom video prompts point toward Deluxe, while images and replies compete for coins. Buying a higher tier gives you more access; it doesn’t settle whether you like the character’s writing.

Try it free if building the setup is part of the fun. I wouldn’t pay for Deluxe or Ultra on the strength of the feature list alone. Spend the starter coins on the conversations and images you came for, then decide whether you want more of those results.
